Kellie Redmond
Kellie Redmond is a multi-award-winning journalist and senior audio production and development exec, across audio and visualised podcasts and radio - having worked both direct for the BBC and commercial platforms, and also at major production companies like Somethin’ Else (now Sony Music Entertainment) and Listen (Platform Media).
A trained journalist who started her career in newspapers, Kellie moved to radio working first at BBC London, then across BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2 shows - winning Best Music Entertainment Producer two-years-running at the APAs, among other awards. Most recently as exec, she picked up Gold at 2025’s ARIAs for Best Music Entertainment Show for Gavin & Stacey farewell show, Barry Island Discs. Alongside this, Kellie also remained true to her journalism roots, winning international awards for various BBC Radio 4 documentaries.
In podcasting, highlights range from leading the foundation creative for The Traitors: Uncloaked to devising formats and/or leading production for numerous other titles such as The Telegraph’s first-ever branded podcast Bright Ideas with Anita Rani, Warner Bros. Studios’ behind-the-scenes Out of Frame podcast, BBC Sounds’ #1 Gemma Collins Podcast, and The British Podcast Award-winning Where’s Home Really?
Kellie is currently Head of Development and Exec Producer at the production company Biscuit Jim, whose slate includes This Life of Mine… with James Cordon podcast, launching both the #1 Pete Wicks’ Man Made podcast and BBC Radio 2’s Emma Willis show - alongside devising new formats and with brand new titles currently in production. Kellie is genuinely passionate about mentoring and inclusion in the industry, including previously mentoring prison leavers studying audio, setting up last year’s inaugural Radio Festival 1:1 speed networking sessions, and founding HER-D - the growing 300+ strong member community for women in audio.
