The Audio Academy are delighted to welcome Nina Robinson, Kellie Redmond and Dave Bethell to the Board of Trustees.

Nina, Kellie and Dave, were elected by Audio Academy members to serve a three year term.

Nina Robinson says:
"Joining the board as a trustee is a real honour and an opportunity to help shape the strategic direction of an industry that has given me so much. My journey here hasn’t followed a conventional path; I’ve often chosen to take risks, step into the unknown and at times accept pay cuts or go without financial security in order to pursue work I believed could make a difference.

People sometimes describe that as being a “trailblazer”, but for me it’s about pushing for change where I can, opening up space for different voices, and helping to build a more inclusive and forward-thinking audio landscape. I’m excited to bring that perspective into this role and contribute to the future of the industry."

Dave Bethell says:
"It is such an honour to be elected by Audio Academy members to join the Trustee board.

For me, this was about far more than simply a popular vote. It felt like a genuine vote of confidence by my peers in the industry.

I’ll bring experience from across the business, but I’m especially excited to support the Academy’s recent evolution from Radio Academy to Audio Academy, helping attract new members and champion and continue the invaluable work it does in supporting talent at every level."

Kellie Redmond says:

“It’s a real honour to join The Audio Academy board as a Trustee, and especially at such an exciting, challenging, and pivotal time for our rapidly evolving audio industry.

I’ve already felt the huge value of the work The Academy does across the industry to support its members - as a RAMP mentee, ARIAs judge, and both attending and helping run sessions at the annual Radio (now Audio) Festival.

If you’re not already signed up, for less than £1 a week you get to be part of this brilliant community and support its work.

Looking forward to joining the team and getting stuck in.”
