It’s the premiere event for catching up with old friends and making new connections. As one first time delegate said after last year’s Festival:
“Most treasured were the hellos with old friends and new. I walked in as a first-timer, self-employed freelance sole trader, thinking I knew no one. Within minutes I was reminded that I’ve worked on the fringes of radio for a while and picked up a few contacts on the way without realising it, people who made an effort to come over and say hi, which just doesn’t happen in every industry.”
