Dave Bethell
Dave Bethell is an audio entrepreneur, creative leader, and broadcaster with nearly three decades of experience across radio, audio production, sonic branding, and media technology. His career started at the BBC and then moved into commercial radio, where he worked across programming, production, imaging, presenting, and leadership roles, giving him a rare end-to-end understanding of how modern audio organisations operate.
He is the founder of Beds & Beats, a production music company designed specifically for radio, which grew to become the largest single MCPS "radio library" of its kind before being acquired by BMG in a seven-figure deal. Following the acquisition, he served as a Director at BMG, supporting strategic development and integration.
Dave is currently Chief Operating Officer and Co-Owner of TM Studios, where he led the acquisition and turnaround of a legacy global radio branding company, in collaboration with business partners Chris UK Stevens and Greg Clancy, Dave focusses on business development strategy, branding, and growth of an international radio business.
Alongside his executive work, Dave remains closely connected to the creative side of audio. He has been the imaging voice of many of the major UK radio networks including Heart, Kiss, Magic and the GCap One Network, and served as one of the official voices of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
More recently, he has built a growing digital presence focused on music fandom and audio culture, reaching new audiences while continuing to champion excellence across the industry.
