The Audio Academy are delighted to announce a social event in Birmingham on 1st July, in collaboration with our friends at Punch Records.
Across radio, podcasting or music, whether you are independent, at the BBC, commercial, hospital, student, community, online, and whichever area of audio you work in, from engineering to presenting and everything in between. If you love and work in audio, come and mingle with us.
What: Nikita Kanda In Conversation with Lauren Redfern plus time to mingle
London to Brum: Nikita Kanda, moved to Birmingham last April when BBC Asian Network moved all their programmes to The Mailbox, in Birmingham. She will talk about the reservations she initially had, the fear that she would miss out on TV opportunities in London, events and shows. She talks about the changes, what life is like in the Midlands and what other opportunities and doors have opened.

This event is free for Audio Academy Members, and non-members may also sign up for £4.
